Briefly: Slow and steady. Good acting all around with a good (if oft repeated) story.

More: What starts out as a standard post-apocalyptic coming of age story turns into a standard “I gotta save my loved one in the p-a” which of course morphs back to the og storyline with a quickness because it’s the p-a and you adapt or die. There was a dream sequence, am not a fan of them, but it was brief plus the end sequence was a bit comic booky, emphasis on the “comic”, yet it was an all-around good movie that steadily plodded on, far from bad yet short of great, you decide how much.
