The parallels between the High Chancellor and his regime and the current President of the United States are undeniable.
I live in the UK so know little about your president, but I think the parallels are more to do with words having new meanings and the population being ruled through a fear of speaking out or saying the wrong thing than trying to paint your guy over there as the problem.
The issue is greater than 1 person and focussing your energy in that direction is misleading you away from the real perpetrators.
