I was having some issues with the show at first but now I have figured it out and it comes down one thing. The child actor Winta McGrath that plays Campion I think I hate him. The casting director that hired him needs to be banned from movies and only allowed to work at McDonald’s for the rest of his life. That’s only because I don’t eat there. His smug attitude makes me want to throw him down one of those snake holes. On top of that his character is so poorly written and directed that it is ruining the show for me. I was hoping for an instant that his character grows up and they have to switch to an older actor, but noooo he is in all 10 episodes.
I agree about the character, but not the kid. It’s a story man, if they made the father a likable character, then they can hate on the kid to get repeating views, but all the characters are not interesting except the mom. The narrative matters, but people relate to people and storytelling needs to address that.
But you hating on a fictional kid is pretty juvenile, he doesn’t have to be 100% the main character.
