Anson Mount is a good actor, and we need to remember he is not one of the writers. There is only so much he can do and try to make the best of the script. Maybe they all should tell the producers, director, and writers enough is enough, you all are ruining us by making us act with horrible scripts. It’s like the producers are allowing these bad scripts hoping the network will have enough and cancel after this season.
Agree, that’s what I was meaning. That the writing is so awful he’s not able to be as good as he could be. Imagine an episode more in the style of those from Voyage/TNG with him as Capt. I think he’d really shine there.
