I’m sure it’s been more than a quarter of a century since I watched this movie, by todays standards it’s still and outstanding movie. All the kids played their roles with impeccable talent. Most of them never being in a major movie role before, I say that the director was amazing at extracting exactly what was needed from the child actors and made this movie timeless. It sad to say but so many schools are still just pushing children along whether they learn anything or not. Great watch.
