In the 70’s Stephen King wrote under the pseudonym name Richard Bachman. When Stephen King became famous, the short stories were republished under his correct name. I hope this was helpful
It wasn’t because he became famous it’s because he was writing books too fast and his publisher didn’t want to tarnish his brand with too many books a year. Simple Google search. “why did stephen king write as richard Bachman”
