The first time I watched this movie - I hated it. The second time I watched this movie - I HATED IT. But both times, I just knew I was missing something. So I buckled down, turned off the phone, and actually watched the movie. And… it’s my all time favorite movie. The many tiny complexities are so perfect. And it asks so many questions that are fascinating and difficult to answer.
I’ve always gravitated toward heavier movies - violent, serious movies. And I love hard endings. This movie is perfect for that sort of person. 5/5.
thanks to your comment, I’m going to give this movie another watch. I found my mind wandering the first two tries but I knew somewhere in my mind (as you did) that this is a significantly good movie. so here goes with an open mind.
