This is one of my favorite Frank movies. I have seen all he has been in and of course this has it all. It’s not fully pitched one way or the other has the drama and the laughs (Of Course the wonderful singing too) and it is quite layered as a story. Celeste Holm is wonderful as always. She is always very forthright but at the end of the day always knows how things are supposed to work as well and manages that balance well for the most part. Now Debbie is of course a spark as she is and Joe is a bit her oppo yet her future in a sense. None the less despite Frank’s swing door of ladies ( HELLO TIIIIGGGERRR) this movie was made great by all 4 of the main actors in it. Great stuff!
