I wonder why a show based in Newfoundland would not have anyone with a Newfi Accent? No one sounds like a Newfoundlander. But, I guess by using basic English they would not have to use subtitles.. Not being disrespectful, I have Newfoundlanders in my family, lots of them..Newfoundland English is like Quebec French. Few people outside the province can really understand it ;=)
Dude! I worked behind the scenes (aka just serving actors) on this and I couldn’t agree more, the production company is Newfie owned, and no one sounded like me besides the staff ( and of course supporting roles)
