i love the satirical hypercolonial hyperwhite hyper patriarchal 50s chic futurism aesthetic a la fallout before the bomb. i thought they had a slick take on it, like the christmas sweater outfit, that was gold. sometimes the satire stings a little too hard when it fades and there is just the monster, but that’s a necessary critique too. (this is comment is meant as a critique on whiteness in the film industry, not my intention to offend anyone by celebrating anything other than the satire of it)
