I don’t really know how to describe what I just watched. I had zero knowledge about the character before watching, other than some slight memories of the 1984 film. So I went into this with little background information. The first 30 minutes were basically trying to adjust to the films style, I wasn’t really digging it. After that, basically when he becomes the Toxic Avenger, it started to get better. The voice over wasn’t great. I don’t get the point of getting Dinklage just to have someone else physically play the Toxic Avenger. Especially when the original Toxic Avenger wasn’t a midget. It failed on the comedy tag that it has. Can’t remember laughing at all, other than a smirk for the fight scenes and their over the top gore factor goofiness. Maybe I’ll like it more the second time watching it in a couple years but as for now a 6/10
