I absolutely adored this movie when it came out in 2005. It opened up such a magical, fantasy adventure land and elucidated some mystical themes (which resonated deeply) of good and evil in their simplest forms. Tilda Swinton was mesmerising and dare I say, a genuine bad ass. I was able to completely immerse myself. And bonus, it’s from a classic book.
