Lol, SuperPower mainly.. No direct link beyond the childhood inspiration of an adorable costume, the powers you reasonably would need to have to be in a sane balance with the time and powers that surrounds the viewer and so on..
An spiritual heritage if you will.. One could point to superman or the little Spiderman.. But I think one would miss because the dream and need of power are more essentially linked to childhood. Grownups are more inclined to the pragmatic dream of gold, money and gaming. If we go real far back we have Verland blacksmith.. As the former/wrencher of material into the living and value serving machine trough and beyond the edge of the known as Magic.. The tool inventor.. The stretch.. with ALL senses and powers for the extraordinary.. explained and otherwise. Later Tor as the active side and son of Odin the war chief. The King’s super fist. Later David and Jesus.. This is still on the gothic/roman/abrahamic herder culture side ofc.
On the clan and tribal hunter gatherer side.. well since the identification was/is larger as it is bound/integrated with the totem of the clan, and therefor a socially more secure culture, personal expansion trough superpower is not really a thing but rather reputation as a lover or good hunter or trustworthy provider of effective magic/spell carried, non empiric knowledge/projection both to to kill or create. For the whole clan, stories of war and eating of the defeated to gain their clans strength, magic and wisdom etc.. These stories of identity was often manipulated and maintained by an shaman to meet the needs and changes of the times. But as the shaman gained power from having psychologic seeing and access to the underground of the clan he/she was most often a very scary outcast working from out the shadows, protected by the image of madness and as such absolutely not a hero. Less mechanical times, that times.. So Pippi is not bound by a Clan but master of her own destiny, an individualist fighting for her freedom from convention.. Much like some of the DC universe renegades. Superman and Spiderman are pure upholders of the status quo.. working WITH the authorities for conformity. And Soo BOORING!! So maybe linked with SOME of the DC universes super “heros” She was also a strong Girl. Wonderwoman Is a glossy version but how individualistic? Well maybe I’m wrong to give DC the creds..
No not at all, I think you absolutely gave me the information to have more insight into how something like this could in fact be in some way no matter how obscure, related to something like the DC Universe and how such things as many might believe were the start of something, were actually inspired no matter how loosely, that we never would knew about. I want to watch this and re think my inquiry, thank you for your thought out response, you gave me something really interesting to think about.
