Right to Harm (2019)

I remember driving down #2 highway to get to our house in the country. We would drive by this pig farm. Mind you we were driving 80 mile an hour and the smell of that pig farm would knock you out, it was so potent. This was on a highway in the middle of no where. I can’t imagine having my house just feet away from something like that. Fast food brought us here and not eating that crap is what will get us out.

Factory farming is horrible, both to the animals and the environment. You and I are from the same area of Ontario and I remember Sunday drives in the country when I was a kid (1970s), and the pastures were full of cattle and sheep. Farms everywhere. One of my besties in high school lived on a dairy farm and we’d hop on the horses and herd the cows after school. Those family farms have mostly disappeared and what’s been put in their place by big FARMa is just vile.
