It’s the first time I’ve heard big FARMA too. heh It just popped up in my head. Quite fitting, I think.
My friend’s dad’s farm is all gone now. I’m not sure what they’ve done with the land. A lot of it was old apple orchards and just open fields, but I’m sure they sold it all off. There are a lot of new subdivisions back there. I highly doubt anyone is farming it. Such a shame. We had so much fun out there. We’d jump on the horses and ride like idiots, not a saddle, helmet or riding lesson to be seen. And zero supervision, of course. It was the 70s/80s after all. :D
yes those were the days. I did some horseback riding too. I was 12 to 14. I miss riding so much. I just being around horses would be enough for me. I love the smell of their coat. It has a sweet smell. Or the noises they made too. I was crazy about them. It sounds as though our up bringing was very similar.
