The worldview that Don Juan teach Carlos about, and that he, Carlos, writes about are a very important heritage for all shaman based cultures, all over the world. Most of thees cultures have experienced severe suppression. Specially when it comes to teachings about power and how to handle and accumulate personal power. And when I say PERSONAL power I explicitly mean power that does not stem from position or possession or other resource access. I mean power that are accessible whether or not you are poor or ugly or unknown. A power that stem from your own personal mental integrity and ability to be so whole in your intent that you transition from you your self to become the tool for your intent, and so become the intent it self.. This is what this film or tale about Carlos mainly are about. Carlos have written closer to 10 Books, All are essentially speaking of the same thing from ever-deepening and varying vantage points, or seen with increasingly stronger “seeing” if you will, building on, from the reading of the earlier books emerged insights.
This books can not be read like other books but needs to be read slowly and with long pause in between to enable an beneficial internalization. An personal experience related association framework needs to be given space to grow for one to be able to fully utilize the books and Carlos and don Juan’s teachings to the fullest extent.

If you can find Castaneda’s books used.. Wonderful, but most of them that have them.. don’t sell them. Castaneda and his teachers teachings are a sacred gift to the Wicca community from the times before the burnings of the knowledge of personal power.
