These shots never get old man of the enterprise in standard orbit around whatever planet they happen to be scoping out at the time. I may have mentioned this before, I did watch a few episodes on dood in 480p before switching to BluRay and the difference is more than night or day, it’s like putting on Geordi’s visor man lol, stunning shots all throughout the show that must of been lost on a lot of people when they were watching this on TV back in the day.

I gave Picard the nod of approval before he even finished his sentence when he said to both LaForge and Riker that it’s a lot easier to just transfer a problem to someone else, and more or less tells them he expects nothing less from them then he would do himself, and HE would go above and beyond to try and rehabilitate one of his crew mates before ever considering a transfer, a transfer I think to Picard would be a sign of failure on his part and would be a last resort. Also, I think Picard saw that a lot of what was going on with Barclay was the fault of his team mates and not himself, a perfect example of this is “Broccoli”, if you remember this episode then you know what I mean.
As far as writing goes, Picard as a captain is second to none. Don’t get me wrong, Cisco and Janeway are over the top amazing, but Picard stands in a league all on his own if you ask me, love his character and the choices that the writers have him make.
