So, this minister came up with a travelogue show based on the BBC Shipping Forecast. It is the nicest, cleanest, most wholesome, slightly boring hour around. If you are turned on by small rustic villages and the idea of joining a boating day on a small-catch trawler, this show may be for you. We had BBC on our public radio station as their overnight programming and for about a decade I would listen to them read chapters out of novels and drowse off to sleep listening to the hypnotic incantation of the Shipping Forecast.
