I gotta check out Penny Dreadful City of Angels now. I didn’t even know
City of Angels feels like a product of them trying to take the literal Idea of a Penny Dreadful ( cheap horror story sold for a penny back in the day), and apply it to that 1950’s time- which doesnt fully translate because alot of the “maybe this is true somewhere” is gone with the advancement of technology, also why theres not a modern Penny Dreadful haha.
