I don’t know. I guess this movie was okay for what it was. But the original War of the Roses was just brutal. This didn’t even get close to that level until there was only about ten minutes left. And then it was kiss and make up to nothing more than an ironic end. The end of the original, was again, nothing short of just brutal. This new version just didn’t do it for me and instead made me want to just watch to original again. On it’s own, I suppose this was alright, but I guess I resent it being associated with an absolute classic. But I think that’s what makes this a one time watch, whereas the other you want to watch over and over and share with anyone who hasn’t seen it. They just don’t make em like they used to.
