I think this is the best rendition of “A Christmas Carol” there is. Alistair Sim makes a formidable Ebeneezer Scrooge. I love the additions of the miners and seeing the ghosts throw their money at a woman and her child in terrible need.
Watch this one if you haven’t. It’s a wonderful Christmas movie.
My Dad made it a tradition in our family to watch this every Christmas eve. It is the only one i will watch and I always cry at the end
