Hey, Gem, do me a favor, when you have the time..I have not watched this yet, jury has been a bit out, but have been looking for something, and won’t mind the spoilers so if you would hit me and give me a brief on this, let me know what’s good and bad about it? Would appreciate it. A lot of people seem to like it, but I myself have a hard time getting into spy stuff unless it’s it’s a certain kind, though it does not have to be the Jason Bourn kind of stuff either, just don’t want to be bored to tears either.
It is a British spy thriller, so it’s story oriented with a touch of conspiracy, mystery, character development and the obligatory Brit cheeky/sarcastic humor. Although there is enough action here and there to keep your attention. The first 4 seasons blended all that very well, but this season is mostly derivative of the previous ones. It’s lazy, the story is far-fetched and the dialogues uninspired. The only positive aspect is the actors are good enough to make it somewhat watchable.
