Bravo!!! The single best arc out of the three I have watched so far. There is so much to talk about here, impossible to touch base on it all. One of the things that stood out to me in this episode was how Stewart would constantly stutter trying to explain his plight, in complete contrast to how was as captain on The Enterprise. I am moving onto the three feature films from here, following that I will watch Picard, then Enterprise and from there I am not sure, I HAVE decided I will watch SNW, I hope I don’t regret that decision, I think if I DO watch Lower Decks (or any other animated features), it will be after I finish the rest of the franchise. I can confidently say I’m a Trek superfan, I’ve already read up on all the different classes of starships and learning things such as USS Voyager is an Intrepid class starship and is one of the first that is capable of atmospheric landing, something many starships can’t do. What the deflector array is and does, types of phaser and torpedo arrays, and every manor of techno babble I could fill my head with, the meaning of the pips on uniform collars across all franchises and so on, anyway, we love it here.
If you want to clear your head, watch the first season of Discovery. It’s where trek technobabble went to die.
