Agreed. In this case it’s not the particular coin, which I agree could come from anywhere, it’s the additional backstory with a plausible historical chain of title. The caveat is (of course) that really almost all history as we know it can’t be confirmed to today’s standards of scientific evidence and anyone can be lying or at least embellishing.
