the musical episode so far was the worst, but halfway through this one, the moment the reporter tried to hide the camera and used the word “colonizer” I was disgusted, first thing that sprung to mind was, “here we go, another woke preachy episode about colonization and probably slavery and how starfleet is racist” I just want to enjoy a famous scifi franchise, not listen to modern politics from a reporter that reminds me of some raving antifa lunatic from MSNBC
Star Trek was always about politics and slavery, and “some raving antifa lunatic.”
Mostly, it was very woke. Gene Roddenberry was a great SJW.
And I, for one, am thankful and grateful to Desilu Productions for supporting Rodenberry’s vision, which was ahead of its time.
