I worked from home for a year and a half. Came within a hairs breath of losing my brother to it. He spent 2 months in the hospital. That was 4 years ago and he has 2 side affects that he will have the rest of his life. I had a choice to work from home for a couple more months but knew I needed time to get use to be around people again, so I went back to work and at times just sat at my desk and shook from fear. I never want to go through that again!
I’m sorry about your brother. I had a reaction to the second vaccine shot and couldn’t take any more, so with my lupus, I had to be especially careful. My son bought me the masks that protected both ways, which was good. I still have COVID tests, which I am sure are expired by now. Every sniffle had me taking a test. I still have all my masks too, well hidden away so I don’t have to think about how hard it was to breathe with those on.
