Wow, that was one hell of a journey. I usually don’t like movies that jump around in time like this but this was epic. I can’t believe that was FOUR HOURS long. I’ve watched some Ninety minute movies recently that have felt twice as long… Superb story telling and good acting to boot. Some curve balls mixed in as well that you don’t see coming. I don’t know if Deniro got luckily cast into these great movies of this era or he helped to elevate them to what they became. This is definitely on the list of “must watch” movies. 9/10
