I heard some people complain that they felt like Enterprise felt “dated” in comparison to other series, ummm, hello!!! it’s set two and a half decades before TOS, and for me the “dated” feeling was all but a part of it’s charm, and Archer was one hell of a Captain.
To me it felt like they did a nice job with Enterprise in their tech. The limited tech made them make compact ships compared to future tech, the set designers reflecting aspects of modern naval ships and subs to bridge the gap between 21st century tech and Enterprise era tech.
For Discovery I’m just glad that they seemed to have learned from it and we got a better strange new worlds from it. I just hope the new Starfleet Academy will be nice.
