Also FYI. Don’t watch the film based on Section 31. It’s just too awful to even begin to describe. Didn’t even make it 10 mins before quitting. Luckily it’s so divorced from the normal Star Trek setting/characters it’s very easy to skip over it without any regret.
I watched Section 31, but it took me 3 hours as I purposely kept pausing it and leaving. What turned me off right near the beginning was that stupidly long fight scene that felt like it lasted forever. The Vulcan with the Scottish accent had me wincing and chuckling at the same time, MIB vibes anyone? Overall, a horrible scifi movie on it’s own, but an even worse Star Trek movie. I think if they’d stuck with the original plan of making it a mini series, they could have done a better job. At least that’s what I want to believe :/
