Not at the station or anywhere.. It breaks the portrait of the era and his character and lessen the possible drama the premises offer. It is contradictory and lessen the show to become pure female emotional self serving porn, without any regard to male viewers and their feelings. It is borderline abusive against the male experience.. Duke obviously is Fatherless and an mother bound child. Which is absolutely ok. Also that experience exist.. But it introduces deep contradictions which, if encouraged, could have real‑life consequences in our contemporary society, especially in the growing disparity between the main genders in terms of communicative ability and mutual reachability concerning deep and prosperity ensuring understanding.
If we turned this narrative around gender‑wise, we would directly spot serious issues from a Feministic standpoint.. That is why the same issue exist here..
