As a single dad to a little (grownass 24yr old) girl, I think this movie is bound to resonate quite well with parents, but maybe middling to anyone else.
I raised my girl to shoot and hunt and skate and play guitar and listen to Pantera and Slayer and she’s pretty friggin’ awesome today for it.
They kinda played on the “tomboy cause a man can’t raise a girl to be a girl” thing, but it doesn’t feel intentional or subversive. All in all, I thought it was pretty damned good.
