To anyone new to Blackadder, series 1 is very different to 2,3 and 4. I’m personally not keen on S1 so dont give up if you don’t like it, just skip straight to S2.
I think the later series were much better in the more confined sitcom style, certainly a lot funnier.
Love this show and Atkinson. Would be the first to kick a racist to the curb. But in the absence of burden of proof that would be legally acceptable, anything else is just serious perjury and false allegations, slander. Sure Atkinson would pursue a legal prosecution over it.
