About your house mixup..
Finnish law as a whole is extremely centered around “one mans/womans right to his/her house, land, family and to inherit this house and the outcome of his/her( In Finnish, it is literary the same word “Hän” or in this case “Hännen”=his/her. ) life’s labor to his/her children”. (“Tila” means space/place/little farm/homestead.(Vocal shifted this become “Talo”=house) ). This in stark contrast to the surrounding countries’s laws, that all are centered around the state’s right to control and tax their populations for the well of the state. And what I mean with “centered” is HOW the law and it’s central “protection objects”(What a law is meant to protect) are named/defined and placed structurally/hierarchically in the hierarchy of implementable/actionable elements.
Also as being such sparely populated country.. (everybody knows someone that knows you or some relative or friend of yours), ..what you manage to claim as yours.. Your territory.. Is yours (In all kind of ways really) You might need to pee on the outlier stones and wander around them looking a bit grumpy, now and then so all know you still have the eyes on them, but everyone knows.. And that if they move in on you, you will growl and pull out the knife with the same force you took your “tila” with.
So actions are lasting statements about you and your personal power. That’s what counts. This most often trumps the law. By far.
I therfore guess that they used the “house” to symbolize all this and Finland’s people’s emotional devotion to their right to private ownership of their “Tilla”(space). (Physically, spiritually, culturally)
This without Finland actually being a very “low tax” or actually in practices very “factory/serial-production capitalistic” or Billionaire friendly place.

If one look further back, Finland never even had an central army before Russia and Sweden started taking their “invasion” turns at it, around 1200. No castles or sword/weapon stashes has been found.
It has 10 times the water bodies than US has/area and now .. also regarding population. It also has 80.000 islands over 1000 sq ft in size. Lakes and sea.
But looking at before the invasion started around 1000 - 1100 AD Finland only has around 60.000 people instead of 5M sharing on that same beach lines. So Finland has it’s spiritual and cultural roots in an siberian/ugric inherited hunter gatherer culture (No animal husbandry). Mainly living of meat and fish and veggies from the wild and from a “personal” slash‑and‑burn garden. Everyone was essentially living by the shore of some water in the endless woods or by the sea. Not in very big flocks, even if structurally in clan and tribal taboo structure, but as much “alone” as anyone wanted as there were no lack of space or beach property.
Life inside was lived in warm thick walled turf huts, called “kotas”. (Turf is that mushy stuff you dig out of the swamp, that have the highest K value. And radiation protection properties) (Koti=home, Kota=Turf Hut). Suomi ( The Finnish name for Finland meaning Suo=swamp ma/mi=earth. Mi is also the ending for “mine” So “My swamp land”) (A Finn=Suo-ma-lainen=Swamp land being/emerger)
In this wild land the knife was the supreme law. Look in the movie! KNIFE!!
So Finland is by identity an strictly individualistic, “law in your own hand” trough knife, culture. Contra Russia’s and Sweden’s (Swedes is strongly related to Russians and have the same middle eastern roots by the way) imperialistic military/hierarchy centered cultures.
So in that way, this is a “nation legitimized” punk vs imperialistic police, movie. Like f* the police extended 2.0. Like this site also are in it’s way. A good fit, I would say.
