I like this mini-series, although I couldn’t help but notice that they just left out a huge portion of his life. They barely talk about his childhood at all, and then after he resigned as a volunteer for the British and went home to Mount Vernon…they basically stop telling his story there and then pick it up again after the American Revolution had begun. I understand they are just trying to give an overview of his life and some insight into who he was as a person, but I feel like they missed some opportunities to do so throughout the parts they fast-forwarded past. Just my opinion.
