I loved the first Pacific Rim - and I really didn’t think that I would before watching it. And, I wouldn’t describe the original movie as -trying- to be kid friendly, but upon rewatching, it definitley does seem kid friendly.
However… this movie… they DEFINITELY went out of their way to try and make it kid friendly. And I honestly do not understand why. It ruined the movie. It was unnecessary. The story is bad. At least the action scenes are good. I give it a 3/5.
