Unlike DCβs Animated Universe, where a version of Stargirl was featured, this Stargirl incarnation is from the new live-action DC Universe streaming service, which will also air on the CW.
In fact, this is not the first we have seen from Stargirl in the CW Arrowverse. Characters from the upcoming series were featured in the Arrowverse crossover βCrisis on Infinite Earthsβ, establishing Stargirl as existing on a parallel Earth to the Arrowverse series.
Stargirl herself, is not a stranger to the CW. She has also appeared in live-action shows Smallville (Britt Irvin) and Legends of Tomorrow (Sarah Grey). This new Stargirl will be played by Brec Bassinger, which debuts on Monday, May 18th on DCU and the next day on the CW. It is scheduled for 13 episodes.
