Excellent origin story for a R rated Supervillain origin story. All the people here complaining about how it made no sense must not have been paying attention because I’ve only been able to find 2 MINOR plot holes in the entire movie. Everything is explained well, and the only guess I can make as to why people don’t like this film is that they’re crazy right-wingers who think the film is some kind of “SJW” propaganda. It’s gory where it needs to be, and it protrays a character falling into psychopathy despite his human urges to be good and his parents doing nothing outright abusive to cause his actions. This film is better than most marvel hero films and I don’t say that lightly as someone who generally hates horror (or more specifically gore for the sake of gore) and enjoys the “super” movies. Unless you’re some kind of weirdo MRA, anti sjw, Larper, you’ll probably enjoy this movie. The acting is fantastic, particularly by Jackson Dunn (the main character and son).
