They have reworked Druidism, Voodooism taking what he could manipulate then use to convince those around that Magik exists, not unlike what Mohumod did to create Islam take the bits from other religions that you feel you can sell and what fills a void in some people’s lives, but with Gerald his first problem I can see with attempt to repel Hitler is that Hitler shares his views, so here you have 2 people primarily working their form of Magik to counter each other, though Hitlers beliefs were more extreme I believe. The other point they brought up was the reference of his dark master to do that you first have to accept christianity because they reference the word devil, that word came hand in hand with christianity where other beliefs have Demons.
