No, no, no! I just watched the trailer and even though it’s intriguing, I don’t care for drama’s/movies with satanic overtones. I’ve never watch The Exorcist and even hearing the theme song played on the radio when I was a teen unnerved me to the point I had to sleep clutching my bible. Laugh if you must, but I draw the line…some believe in neither God nor the devil but where does that evil come from……hmmmm?
“tubular bells” was written first before they nicked the 2 bar intro and made it creepy for “the exorcist” theme was an amazing album by mike oldfield -and mostly the reason the theme is unsettling is cos of the time signature that cuts off at the end gives that jarring effect -my point is even tho they acquired the intro for their soundtrack what u heard on the radio was just the original recording by mike -and after u get past the intro it goes into some happy chords and the mood changes dramatically
