It was a smaller film, but if you liked Waitress, please take the trouble to find “Sudden Manhattan”. It’s here on Primewire. It was the first film she wrote, directed, produced, and starred in. I like it more than Waitress.
I will do that snazzy! I saw that movie in her list of films she directed.
I only found out about her death last year when I was looking up Waitress. I saw a picture and wondered what happened to her. as her smiling face is unforgettable. And YES! Hal Hartley films!
