I’ve seen this plot oh so many times, so this was nothing new for me. If you saw the likes of “Independence day”, then you already know the story here. With some scenes almost the same as the aforementioned movie. Good things? The effects were pretty good, and the aliens looked pretty spooky. The bad things? Too much time spent on the on showing off the effects, instead of telling a story that would differentiate itself for the rest of the genre. It’s not a bad watch, it held mt attention to the end. But unfortunately, this movie is nothing new to chew on. Good for a one-time watch. Point given, there are worse out there. 5.5/5 stars.
