I love martial arts. I would really like this show if the rap music didnt exist so much in it. It just doesnt fit to me. This show would be great if the music wasnt targeting a certain race and wasnt annoyying every step of the way because of it
What are you on about? It’s fine to not be a fan of a genre, but Hip Hop and martial arts have been intertwined for decades now. I’m most disappointed they didn’t get the RZA to produce the tracks, and there’s not a Wu Tang Clan cameo. You’ve obviously never been to the Bay, where this series takes place - Hip Hop is easily the most popular music in the area. Besides that, “targeting a certain race”? The actual musical artists in this series are pretty diverse, and Hip Hop is America’s biggest export since baseball. There are Hip Hop scenes From Beijing to Bangladesh, Baghdad to Belize. Where do you live, a cornfield in Iowa? You do know that statistically, the most sales of Hip Hop records in America are to 15-19 year old Caucasian females, right?
