It’s nice to watch lighthearted stuff every once in a while, but this looks too kiddy action for me. I know it’s just the trailer…still the other Transformer movies were definitely for adults.

That was awesome. Rarely can a horror movie keep my interest anymore, but the tongue-in-cheek humor, great acting and unique premise did so with ease.
That’s a quick turn around. No word on when Part Three will air yet, but it should come by the end of the year and will star Katee Sackhoff (Poison Ivy), Mark Hamill (The Joker), Dean Winters (Captain Storm), and Corey Stoll (Lex Luthor).
Glad I saw your post, added it right fast to my ‘watching’ list, so it will pop up in my list when it airs. First one was pretty good, and thought it might be a good while before the second one came out, much less that there would even be a third, figured just a part two. Guess they are really going for it with this one.
Creepy guy can’t keep a relationship even with an AI, who ends up cheating on him with thousands of other men. I hope society never gets to this point. I know it’s supposed to be a romance movie, but it’s just creepy and IMO a warning to society. Nothing beats getting to know real people.

Don’t hold your breath when it comes to hoping that this (and I use the word loosely here) “movie” is going to be any good. “Breathe” is a dumpster fire that will suck the IQ & Oxygen Level out of the room. LOL
No I’m the like a good movie type and guess what this doesn’t look like a good movie to me.
Anyone else have problems with mixdrop? it goes green and funky colors and is a mirror image of my screen?
On this particular link, yes. “The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported” Reported.

I really wanted to like these movies. A mash-up of Magnificent 7/7 Samurai, Star Wars, and Mass Effect that is so derivative and formulaic that it just falls flat. Some will say he is paying homage to these works of art, but it felt like theft to me. As I’ve said before, he does his best work adapting others stories.
Although visually stunning, as all his work is, the storytelling is uninspiring. We got Rebel Moon - Part One: Recruitment and Rebel Moon - Part Two: Origins and I still felt no connection to any of the characters except for the most overlooked of the all, Hopkins portrayal of the fallen “Quest Knight” robot Jimmy/James. Snyder said from the start that his intent was to create a cinematic franchise, much like Star Wars, with several ongoing movies and spin-off series, but at this point I only want to see more of James.
After all that criticism, I feel I should backtrack and admit that I didn’t hate, thus the 4/5 rating I gave it. The movies are beautiful, fairly well acted, and keep up a pretty good pacing. I just wanted a better story. Hopefully, the inevitable director’s cut will give me that.
There’s an updated IMDB poster and information, “A father and teen daughter attend a pop concert, where they realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event.”
This is a trailer, for anyone interested: https://youtu.be/oUgPrNGGRQY?si=TSHMmRnGgpz0IlB5
It’s wonderful to see Josh Hartnett getting back to work again.
Shudder is one of the very few production companies that take chances with their horror and are always inventing something new and different. Does it always mean a “10/10” movie? No, but they are willing to risk, which is refreshing in the sea of American remakes out there. This project/movie is a perfect example of originality. We really enjoyed it and felt the acting, suspense and gore held our interest. We’d rate it at a 4.3.
Like you I’ll pass, but for me i didn’t like the grace family. The mother is acting more like a sister or an aunty to the grace kids. I just didn’t like there acting, so yeah i’ll pass as well.
I never had the chance to read all of the books, think I read some of them when I was a lot younger, but don’t have a clear recollection. Did watch the series that came out prior to this, and it was not half bad, but have not had any chance to watch any of this yet. Do want to get to this, and hope they didn’t mess it up too badly. I want to like it, but like a lot of things, what you want and what you get…
You mean Seven Samurai in Space
Was just about to go there, as I was scrolling down the comments, to see if anyone else was going to say it. Was going to go with a Magnificent 7 knock off. Watched the first one, and liked it well enough, but watching the first part of the second one was just ‘Meh’, and quit partway through. Saw the ‘7’ knockoff, and just gave up. Effects were good enough, but if I’m going to waste lifespan at this point, I want something worth my time. This just didn’t seem to fit the bill for me.
I was hoping this would be like Carnival Row, but it seems more like a scary show for children. Think I’ll pass.

Always felt that stylistically this was also similar to Guy Maddin’s work.
Harsh, ugly, disturbing, raw, difficult , unsettling , traumatising. If you are not used to dealing with this side of life this movie will give you nightmares but it is excellent imo
Fox made a terrible decision not to renew for a second or more seasons.
Hahaha! first of all, you Don’t clean your weapon with a loaded bullet! what a dummy!
A portrait of a nasty business that reveals aspects of those with the power to muzzle & gag.
The U.S. vs. John Lennon presents a shocking part of Lennon’s fame, but Imagine is like his Rosebud & sums him as total person very well.
A very loving testimony of the bombastic Over-the-top talent of Chris Farley that is done with ultimate respect.
Remember these events. Never a good thing to drink the koolaide. Powers Boothe. Powers Boothe. Powers Boothe.
Everyone delivers. Keith Mitchell, Donald Pleasence, Charlotte Rampling, Jane Asher, everyone. Best of the BBC.
Not only will this show get another season, but Apple is looking into their options for other spin-offs based on the Legendary Monsterverse.
With season 3 currently in production, FX has announced that they will roll right into a season 4.
Davidson called it quits on this just as they were ramping up for a start of production for a 2nd season this summer. I feel bad for him, but how many bridges can you burn before people give up on you?
‘The Last Thing He Told Me’ Renewed For Second Season. But no release date which could be a long time from now.
You are correct. The author will be releasing a sequel novel in 2025 and the 2nd season will be based on that. Garner, Coster-Waldau, and Angourie Rice are slated to return. Obviously, it will be a bit of a wait.
No expectations were needed with this film it was just total rubbish well at least the first half was.
Well, then how do you know the second half was if you walked out? If so, you can’t call it total rubbish, only partial rubbish. I’m not saying it’s the best Ghostbusters movie ever, and I certainly had my questions too concerning particular plot points. Still, overall, I thought it was decent and enjoyable.
I see. You went in with expectations. The film didn’t live up to those, so you gave up instead of simply enjoying it for what it is. Understood. You know what they say about opinions though…

and some do it just based on a trailer
Our aunts certainly did. They’d watch Dan Stevens do crossword puzzles & pay good money to do it.
Others are likely to not care either way & do it to giggle at those who have a problem with it.
Fans. Some fans of a genre know they like it before they see it. Some fans of an actor or director know they consistently like a person’s work & support that work without having seen it yet. Anti-fans do they same thing in reverse. If they don’t like a genre, actor, whatever & nothing will change their mind, they go the other way with it. It’s valid whether anyone agrees with the motivations or not.

How can this have 4 stars and 4 votes when it hasn’t even come out yet? Anyone?
Great movie. I was really looking forward to watching this and it did not disappoint me at all. It is very gritty and real. Not like the reality Ambulance shows where everyone is a hero and it all works out in the end. It’s not a job that anyone can do and they conveyed that very well. It was cool to see Iron Mike. IMO he still can’t act but I love him anyway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The casting on the 3rd part gives me hope that this iteration of the DCU is going out with a bang.
