I love all the experts that chimed in to say this sucks. I bet around episode 4 or 5 they’ll change their opinions.

It shouldn’t even take that long. So many people have no understanding about what is truly happening here because, they have no background on Scarlet Witch, other that what they have seen in the Marvel movies. The situation reminds me of a friend that told me that they walked out of Alien 30 minutes in because there was nothing happening. LOL
I miss Jon Stewart, too, but the current crew does a very good job. Different from the Stewart days, and to my mind not quite as good, but still very good and very funny; I hope you’ll keep an open mind.
Good aftermath episode. It addresses things we wonder about, like how they make their money when they aren’t saving the world, as well as the psychological repercussions of the battles they wage. Aside from that though, this episode didn’t do much yet. I’m sure it’ll pick up with upcoming episodes though. All in all, decent pilot and I’m looking forward to the rest :)
Agree! I have enjoyed the Conjuring movies (minus The Nun, which was still far better than this one), but this movie made me hope it’s the last in the series. My advice is to watch it with low expectations.
Just finished watching whole season and it was good but pales in comparison to the many other superhero shows out. We’ve seen the whole superhero family dynamic before with similar characters of same powers. I really liked the action scenes and that it adds to comic with story opening up this Millarworld. A great watch for those who love this genre but nothing amazing we haven’t seen.
This is frustratingly accurate. Profit over everything. Even now we are killing the planet and nothing is being done to stop it… Sad really.
Dude. Gotta say, I laughed a lot. Most comedies suck nowadays but this one got me.
1 - More crotch shots of 11 year olds than I can count on my fingers
2 - A child has water splashed on her butt as she dances
3 - A scene involving an adult showing sexual interest
4 - A scene of a child hurriedly pulling down her jeans and panties to take a crotch picture
Honestly, I could go on, but since you’ve watched the film and enjoyed it
enough to defend it maybe you can enlighten me on your favourite scene?
You are lying, those things do not happen in this documentary. ( this was directed at benjamin not escape from new york-snake )
I have a really crazy idea. If you’ve been stabbed and you want the wound to heal, the first step is to take out the knife. If the country is wounded, and we want the country to heal, take out the president who’s causing the wound! Go impeachment!
3 episodes of raised by wolves 1st episode was hard to get thru til 30 min mark when the necromancer appears then it picks up a lil and then drops again -great acting and filming by Ridley Scott of ALIEN fame (shame they dont have any ) is superb BUT its basically boring as fokk the quadraped aliens are kinda cool but we aint seen close up yet of them -even travis fimmel cant save this one -will watch COUPLE more to see if story grabs me (some ONLINE CRITICS SAID THEY DINT GET INTO IT TIL TH 4TH OR 5TH EPISODE when teh story really opens up ) so there is stil some hope -not diggin the religious /athiest wars storyline atm
eh I dunno its kinda cool .. the Mithraic religion was an early competitor for christianity in roman times which christianity stole a few tricks from, like putting a disk behind the heads of saints etc in art .. thats the disk of Sol (the Sun) .. obviously Ridley wanted to talk about christianity without attracting too much flak, so Mithraism is a good cypher for it .. its pretty obvious they look and act like early christians, costumes, haircuts, adopting roman style names etc, even being very cautious about questioning or free speech lest they get censured for it .. Im sure we will see some of that later on :)
Ahh, I see, Mein Fhurer, but your comment was not needed.Just that you seemed to need to was enough. Validated you need for control. I just stated that I thought there was no spoiler, and in truth, there was none, just you wanted to control someone. Never said anything about it being a ‘call’. Just said I didn’t see a spoiler, and now all of a sudden you see a threat to your alleged ‘authority’.
Shyte. And I’ll add for the brothers and sisters on the other side of the pond, ‘Bollox’,WTF authority? That which you think you were given by those on a frakin’ streaming site?
Look,I’m Going to make it easy on you, as I know damn well you and the whole site have been gunning for me to say anything, and this is just proof of it, so here you go. In the words of the great Scotsman who posted this first, and can’t remember the man’s name…
‘Bite me,ya bloody daft moonfruit…’!
Now,feel free to mute that…
well they aint hurting anyone even if i dont agree with them i dont see a point in ratting on people discussing different ideas. if the mods want to flag them so be it till then enjoy your god given 1st amendment
I get flagged, ratted on, downvoted, and all of that all the time on this site. I just see this convo going nowhere. None of you are going to change the others mind, so why keep going. This is supposed to be about discussing the movie, once again, this has veered way off from that. When I had issues with the mods on this site, I tried to use the whole “This is america and I’ve got my 1st amendment right.” They didn’t care and still muted me. If it can happen to me for not abiding by the rules of the site, it should happen to everyone else too.
to be fair .. those other guys dont go bankrupt repeatedly, they do have some brains .. mr T is quite unique, completely uneducated brain-damaged idiot, cant even speak or think .. yet still billionaire
He’s special alright. In a very special way. He was going to put the “US back in business” (which he spelled “biness” until then I guess) and that’s the guy who managed to bankrupt a casino. Who can bankrupt a damn casino??
Oh my GOD this is going to be EPIC! I am officially FLOORED. SO many easter eggs, SUCH a great soundtrack. WOW! 5/5
This Netflix original is a very entertaining, easy to watch, and professionally edited semi-superheroes sweet treat. Jaime Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, combined with [relative] newcomer Dominique Fishback deliver on every level. I enjoyed its quirkiness and humour as well as its gore and imagination. Highly pleasurable viewing. 3.8/5
Christina Ricci doesn’t get near enough love for her work IMO. She owned almost every role she’s ever had.
Powerful last message and yep it’s going to be interesting to see how all of this is going to end.
You got any basis of evidence for that or are you doing a “Maddow” by making assumptions and running with them based on nothing whatsoever?
A cheesy, spoon-fed, rehashed, boring, money-grab.
All of the action sequences suffer from poor editing, cheap special effects, and childish dialog, specially tailored for the mind of the average 10 year-old.
Strategically enhanced with cute robotic pets!
I knew to save my comment about this show till the last episode because I had so many theories being a comic nerd. I loved how they wrapped this up and set up Wanda to be in the next Doctor Strange with Monica being included with Captain Marvel. I still know that the twins will eventually be in Young Avengers so whatever adventures lead to that will be good to see them again as teens. That official costume had me on my feet, well done finale and loved all the sitcom era antics to get to this point.
Woohoo! Season 3 is officially happening. It will run for 18 episodes and will air in a non-stop and break-free run in the mid-season starting in early 2025. Double woohoo!
This is a good little pulp action movie, bang bang splat, smack in the head with a hammer. The story is reasonable, the cast is top drawer and the production values look expensive. I may be biased, I would watch Michelle Yeoh or Karen Gillan do their taxes…
Olivia Colman…YES! Trailer looks fantastic. Hope those weren’t the only funny bits!
“Atlas Shepherd (Jennifer Lopez), a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. But when plans go awry, her only hope of saving the future of humanity from AI is to trust it.” May 24, 2024 is the release date.
loved the offbeat character he played in sons of anarchy.
He was awesome in Justifed as well! The original series. And don’t forget The Righteous Genstones.. if either haven’t watched that give it a whirl. It’s hilarious!!
Was surprised how much I enjoyed this. Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.
What a thoroughly enjoyable watch. You are reeled in from the first episode and after a few initial character developing episodes the story takes off and soars such that each week outdoes the previous. The cast is exceptional and the writing flawless. This series is not only binge worthy it is high on the re-watch scale. Overall it is an exceptional production and I highly recommend it for anyone.
Awesome show, great job by Stallone
I agree. We quite liked this. Waiting eagerly for the next season!
Can’t wait to see what they do here in season 2 fingers grossed, come on feb 8th. :)
Me too! Me too! crossing fingers too I really liked Season 1, so I figured (with my luck) it wouldn’t get a Season 2… I’m really glad I was wrong :)
YES! YES I WILL! 🥰
I found it entertaining, but Number 2 is the tops in my opinion.
SO looking forward to this! We watched the first two this week just to prepare for it. SQUEEEE
Despite bad editing, too many subplots without purpose and no explanation for missing beloved characters, I enjoyed it just for being a feel good flick with spectacular scenery.
Tom Baker is the best Doctor Who ever, period.
quite liked jon pertwee, he was my first dr( yes i’m old lol) does anyone out there remember watching the pilot when it was first broadcast??????
What a great film. Great plot, great acting. Can’t believe I’d never heard of this one before. Highly recommend.
This uses classic toons from 1950 up to 1959 and loosely forms them together into a single classical toony concert. The main sequences are from The Rabbit Of Seville (where we get to the only shot of Bugs with 5 fingers), Baton Bunny, What’s Opera Doc (most people know it as Kill The Wabbit), and then Back Alley Oproar. They rerecorded the music new from Back Alley though due to copyright problems, so there’s a big difference from Carl Stalling’s work over to the 90s version.
It’s easy to tell the difference between the newer 90s stuff and the classic 50s stuff. It’s like the difference between a diamond & a piece of glass. The line work is inconsistent & sloppy, there’s a distinct difference between the original Mel Blanc voices & then Bergman’s, and the timing is off with the music cues. It’s fun, but What’s Opera Doc was the 1st cartoon preserved by the Library Of Congress & it’s award winning, so it’s noticeable when that genius work is spliced with sloppy 90s stuff. It’s like some art student coming in 100 years later & adding their own brushstrokes to a Rembrandt.
Looks promising.
Great cast, and we really enjoyed it. Great premise executed perfectly.
I’m going to rewatch Captain Marvel and Ms Marvel 1st. Viewing day planned.
Man AlPacino was legendary in this movie. Watching again after 25 years and I appreciate it better. Why aren’t movies made like this anymore?
So sad that this show was canceled. It is so well written, funny, quirky, and fun. I’ve added it to my favourites list. Why do they keep cancelling shows of such high caliber, like this?
This is Disney… Boycott this brain-dead bullshit. Not even watching F2P versions of any of their agenda pushing BS. Fuck ‘em!
You sound crazy, the author of the book, wrote and produced the tv show scripted. This is his true vision of the show and not the movies.
Man, this show has that feel good thing down pat.
True, it’s amazing nowadays to find a show that makes you feel good after watching it. I am a superfan of horror, sci-fi, and gritty and dark series or movies, but this one is like a breeze of fresh air
Is there access to more than two episodes?
Dean’s show ran about a decade, so there’s lots of shows we’re missing. Our aunt had about 30 shows scattered from 1968 to 1973, and we posted all that we had. Wish we had them all, but we don’t. 30 shows is the equivalent of one season. These days no one works anymore, so 30 shows is the equivalent of a few seasons by contemporary standards.
What we do have that isn’t posted are 10 volumes of The Best Of Dean Martin, but there’s no pages provided to post those to.
Last week we also posted the 2002 Martin & Lewis movie as well as 2 Dean Martin docs, The King Of Cool 2021 as well as The One And Only 2002.
Did I just watch a Dr. Who episode?
