Movies have never been made for a general audience, you were just always part of the audience they were made for. Now you’re mad that a movie got made for a different audience that you don’t feel a part of because you don’t like getting a taste of what those other audiences have experienced when watching movies. Cope.

It’s hilarious how brain dead people just say the buzz words of ists and phobes when you point out a Hollywood movie that could of been ok but they had to give in to this woke nonsense. Which does nothing to further the plot and just seems like messy add in garbage.

chachki -1 points 6 months ago.

It’s hilarious how brain dead you must be to not see how it was used to further the plot. In the end, it became clear it was an essential part of the plot. The old guard who hold on to tradition and can’t adapt or change. They blame the new generation and “others” for their insecurities and problems.
Words are used to describe something. Words like bigot and homophobe are not “buzzwords”. OP expressed clear intolerance to those who are different by suggesting that a “gay element” is enough to ruin a movie. That is the definition of bigot.

What a wonderfully interesting movie and an incredible acting job by Claire Danes. I came upon this movie from a youtube short and I couldn’t even tell it was Danes portraying this character. The mind is a wonder that we still have not mastered. Even autism could not hold this woman back from what she loved. Great movie. 8/10

There’s maybe 5 mins of gayness in whole movie, and a couple of actors that aren’t lily white. It doesn’t take much to annoy the haters these days.

chachki 1 points 6 months ago*.

I made these comments before I watched it, now I have. It is simply social commentary on a teenager in a small town confused about who he is in a society that doesn’t accept him. Commenters also stating it has nothing to do with the plot when in fact, it was because of his frustration in the shed about his gayness that led him to kick the thing into the gate thus progressing the plot. Bigots aren’t known for their critical thinking skills.

It’s LGBTQIA2S+ you bigot homophobe. See how ridiculous and idiotic being woke is? It never was and never will be a compliment. It’s a monster that ate itself. Thankfully it’s on it’s way out.
And adults know all kinds of people exist, they don’t need it crammed into every movie like some kind of idiotic psa. Especially when it has nothing to do with the movie and/or plot.

snazzydetritus 1 points 6 months ago.

Being a xenophobic jagoff is what’s on its way out, not being woke.

This is the reason that you all who scare easily when you see someone who looks, sounds, or f—ks differently from you, are so threatened.

It seems to me that this movie actually was made for “every viewer as a general audience”. A ‘general audience’ definitely includes a gay element, and is, whether you like it or not, definitely mixed with all colours of people. They exist. They’ve existed for centuries and they aren’t going away. Nor should they because they’re just people like everyone else.

Stay woke, folks! And consider it a compliment, because it just means that you’re against social inequalities, including racism, sexism, and discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.

Definitely worth checking out, especially if you like movies like the Pink Panther, and Murray’s other movies “Groundhog Day” and “What About Bob?”

For fans of Bill Murray, this documentary on the real Bill Murray was pretty interesting:
https://www.primewire.tf/movie/659853-the-bill-murray-stories-life-lessons-learned-from-a-mythical-man

In one segment, he accepts an invitation to a college party and actually shows up as just a normal guy. He’s so generous with people, it made me think it was staged, but it wasn’t.

Friendship (2025)
BubbaPharm.com 0 points 6 months ago*.

I didn’t much care for “Cable Guy” or this dark “Fatal Attraction” buddy movie. This was a continuous downward spiral without hope.

Anyhoo, if you liked this movie, and didn’t mind the inherent discomfort, I found “Chuck and Buck” to be more impactful. I’ve watched it twice with friends and tell them to sit away from me, because some of it makes you squirm. It’s creepy, uncomfortable, and not an easy watch, but more heartwarming in the end. It’s either, “wow” or “wtf”. So I’m only recommending it for those who think they liked my uninviting description. : https://www.primewire.tf/movie/437751-chuck-buck

Might be the remake to “Death Ship” you wished for five years ago.

I think, “Death Ship,” re-used footage from “Poseidon Adventure,” and “Ghost Ship” either used footage from this one or copied elements of the upper deck halls.

The creater came in with a script for a new naked gun. Then was ghosted then read later on that Seth McFarlane was going to do a reboot. They didn’t even tell him lol.

I watched the French Version, Bureau. I am not sure whether the finale of season 1 is the same as the French one. Is it in different plotline in US version? I don’t believe it showed that way in French finale. I forgot almost everything in French version.

jokkun 2 points 6 months ago.

It’s very similar to the Bureau’s season one finale. The key difference between the two is that he approaches the CIA for their help in exchange for being a double agent for them in the Bureau whereas MI6 forces him to do it here. There’s also a set up for Marina in the Bureau (the Iran storyline) that’s lacking here, so I’m curious how closely season 2 will end up aligning with the Bureau.

Tammy has lost the equivalent of 3 men. She looks fantastic. I think the reason Amy is being the way she is, is she is feeling maybe not jealous but her nose is completely out of joint and a chip on her shoulder to match. At the end of every season Amy loses it. I don’t know why. Last season I thought she might be bipolar, but now I think she’s just very immature and over sensitive do to having low self-esteem. That boyfriend of hers gives me the creeps. I don’t know what is it’s about him. I get the same feeling with him that I do when I met a pervert. I sure hope he’s not going to hurt her kids.
