Having read all the books and liking them, with exception of book 7 which I thought rushed and not up to par, I could not help but compare the show to the books. The pilot drastically alters and waters down all that happened to the robot and only leaves his sarcasm and his job with the quirky humans. The script cleverly left out what he was created for, by who, and why his free will is so important. I suppose it might offend viewers to see government and big business in a negative light. The show has lost too much for me to want to watch, but i see it has grown a following. Anyone here who did not read the books, and wants to, ‘The murderbot diaries” by Martha Wells
Wow what a season. I get tears in my eyes when I see these girls..
I might have an old fashioned streak in my soul, because their bravery and stoicism really makes me love them as women so much.
I mean, don’t get me wrong,I’m a socialist at soul and I don’t believe in marriage (For me I mean, I do believe that others do Marry thou, duhh, with different results) but if I ever would be forced.. F**k! It would be to a tough, brave BullRiderGirl that with ease could say that I wasn’t her first rodeo.
These Women fill my heart with love.
I highly recommend the series to, at least, older, lonly, sentimental men.
It’s all good. I wasn’t noticing that but just found the main characters really weak but I kept watching as you said these are short shows. In the later episodes I find the guest characters got me enjoying it more going into the final episode. I was like this Phil guy looks so familiar. Is that the mechanic from Wings? Lowell is that you? Then a couple episodes later Ron White? Shut the front door. 🤣
Cage has always leaned-in to ‘artsy’, ‘experimental’ type stuff. Who can forget ‘Prisioners of Ghostland’?
I had to quit that one halfway through and pick it up again later…it didn’t get any better. But what may seem ridiculous to me may be ‘pure genius’ to those more ‘cultured’ in the performance arts.
But I do like Nick Cage, so I always give his stuff a try. I’ll try ‘The Surfer’ tonight and see how it goes.
How many others are drawn to this because of how much the character of Sookie Stackhouse built up the character of Eric Northman (like a Norse God figure) in “True Blood?”
I know I got drawn into the wake of many actors and actresses through that show. (ie: Rutina in TLOU)
Feels like I’ve been waiting for this. (To bad I’m saving it to watch with someone else, hehe)
~ then again, was it how Sookie “saw” Eric, or how he did his impression of the Energizer Bunny…? har-har (wish I had that endurance)
Never intentionally watched true blood but my wife enjoyed the soap opera. He was great in Generation Kill though.

What a waste of my time. What the heck is Cage thinking doing these mind twisting, psycho dramas? It would take a while heap of illicit substances to make this movie watchable. I guess Cage is done with being the hero and has settled for psychotic mind numbing films that are very forgettable.
From the director of Vivarium: Lorcan Finnegan. I’ll be avoiding his name in the future.
This is so much easier to watch than Louis CK’s series…. Yeah, it’s not as substantive, but… this is Shane and Stavros.
Hahaha
If you’re an Eve Myles fan, then read on. The BBC has yet to confirm an exact release date. But filming has now wrapped, meaning we won’t have to wait long for an announcement. It could be late summer or early fall. Stay tuned.
If waste of time was a movie it would be called “Presence”! Wasted script. It felt like a student art project. The story was flat and i hated the acting. It was like a bad stage play. I can’t even put into words how disappointed I am.
Brutal. Poor Jeremy. last 2 episodes are rough. Pour a pint and raise it to Diddly Squat!
forgive if this is too analitycal , but a secret passage,…with a light under the false wall/door + they need torches when they open it C’mon !!

As I remember, it was a skit he did years and years ago where he did inappropriate things with a doll. It was just to get a laugh at a time when we were less aware of being PC and I never thought it was enough to be cancelled over since it happened long before he ever created Rick and Morty.
I believe that’s incorrect. The OP is referring to the inter-personal allegations against Roiland that he groomed 16-year-old fans to send him inappropriate messages, etc. It’s not like a James Gunn tweets/having pedophile themed parties uncouthness. I mean, Rick and Morty was originally Doc and Marthi which was like a 15 minute long Back to the Future pedophilia joke, so I don’t think his edginess is the issue. I personally think they were a bit heavy handed because of Dan Harmon’s previous admissions of sexually harassing Meghan Ganz moreso than Roiland’s past edgy comedy.
I could find out that Freddie Mercury liked to masturbate in a tub of jello with a three legged goat wearing spandex…. it wouldn’t Queen’s music one bit. When something is good, it doesn’t matter who made it. it’s still good.
i think spandex was obligatory then, but i’m not sure it was goat proof, ..
would the goat eat the spandex or the jello, … actually cancel that i dont think iwanna kno, but i will bend to your obvious superior knowledge of the topic 😁😁
correct, there were none. either adding her in as a way to narrate the story more, or they’ve changed the plot a bit to make the ‘resolution’ a little better, as in she’s one of the GrayCris staff. Based on her behavior, it’s hard to tell which…she seems to be playing either, and badly, as cheap comedic foil. I guess we’ll see. SO far, they’ve been very true to the original story, in some cases word-for-word dialogue.
I’m going to watch it shortly. I can totally see the using them as the GrayCris person ‘controlling’ their secunits. They may be the face of Graycris for the sake of when they end up going against ‘the company’. The ‘bad side’ always needs to have a person lording it over everyone and then throwing a hissy as they get entirely dismantled, or may have some connection to the mine + subsequent reprogramming that lead to MB cracking his governor.
I do think that the shorter length of the books (3-5hours each audiobook I think) makes it much easier to segment into episodes/series without a too convoluted plot/having stuff cut or being padded with extra unecessary stuff.
As you say otherwise they’ve been very true to the original story which is why I like it. Hate how showrunners like to take something that’s popular, because it’s popular as it already is/characters etc and then they make changes which no matter how minor/major then often lead to the show tanking primarily because they messed with the original stuff that made it so good.
Some couples need to split up. We hope counselling will help, but when one of them refuses to work on the problem it can get toxic.
I’m as tangential as tangential can be, but I am also one of the kids who survived Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland’s divorce.
It wasn’t because of the legal case, which we know was dropped, or moral failings (which we know in today’s Surveillance State could’ve proved and charged him for if true). It was because their relationship had become toxic, and, in spite of the kids, had to end. It’s a shame “The Studio” used Parental Alienation tropes with Modern PR techniques, aka Cancel Culture, but they did. But, we know from interviews with Dan that Justin was burnt out, and the work relationship had simply ended badly.
We all wish The Beatles could’ve stayed together. And, it’s natural for us to play the blame game. Anyone whose done significant work on themselves, only to then find their partner (or child) refuses to do any work with them to rebuild knows that’s what divorce is for. No one is the “bad guy,” “we have no enemies,” and all that, but life should continue, even if it seems we have less to live for.
We can, perhaps, find some spark of joy in re-runs of “Archer,” “Adventure Time,” or I don’t know, “Buck Bunny.”
FYI: Some episode descriptions are different than the links. The links appear to be correct. Example, description for Truth or Dare is on episode 12, but it should be on episode 13.
Genius.
Probably one of my favourite films. Have you seen the remake? It’s pretty groovy, https://www.primewire.tf/movie/60386-suspiria though can never reach the level of artistic beauty and symbolism…witches! everywhere witches!! Haha!
Another great episode. Jason is a magnificent beast and watching him on this show is so hysterical!
Most of us were thinner in our younger years.
Love MSW. I watched it when it 1st came out. It’s such a fun show. I started watching it since I’m a big Eric Andre fan but he’s largely wasted in that show being Jay’s sidekick friend. He really stole every scene he was in imo.
Yah, Eric Andre popped up on my radar just this week. I watched “Bad Trip”. Prank shows aren’t usually my thing, except for the occasional Impractical Jokers or Nathan Fielder. So I was surprised to find myself laughing that hard.
They wrote a scripted movie and inserted all the extra characters into prank scenes. https://www.primewire.tf/movie/1339681-bad-trip
It gets rolling once they get on the road.
Yeah this season seems hard to watch. I don’t remember last season being this bad.

I completely agree with this statement and for my part it is the exact same stance I take with Marilyn Manson, regardless of all the media propaganda and tabloids, the band as a whole was very talented and created genre defining music that stands the test of time to present day, in my opinion of course, not a fact. Well stated.
Very funny.. Just needs more time per episode. Need to be 1 hour episodes!!
WHAT AN ENDING!!! I’m going to go crazy waiting for next season. On a related note, I get way too attached to fictitious characters.
It’s a 1 camera show with no studio audience of laugh track.
It’s not a sitcom.

Ĥmm, 0 links to any episodes. Prefer not just mixdrop as can’t get that. 4 out 5 comments said funny.figured see if anyone else wants to see it.
These episodes are 22 mins but title is divided 11 mins one.
So Ep 9 is actually episode 17 and 18 here.

You’re right about that. It’s a damn good movie.
