What? I was just having a laugh which you perceived to be at your expense.
That wasn’t my intent. As you can see, I veered away from your comment.
No offense intended.
I sincerely apologise, Alien. I’m truly sorry. Thanks for replying and setting me straight.
It looks like it might be good. I’ll wait for some reviews and then check it out.
Alien: Isolation?
That game is so damn good and scary the first playthrough. Can’t wait for the sequel.
Fun ‘who-dun-it’ that was definitely worth the watch
Yes a good ‘who done it’ but could have been a little more and, for that I would have to put it under spoiler.
Yet another Val Kilmer off my list.
Will SOMEONE, ANYONE… PLEEEeeease… make an ACTUAL Video-Game Homage to this ingenious film!? I mean, this came out before “Surround Sound [for movies at home],” even existed. But… listen to it. Before “Dolby,” we’d use a hopped-up version of Mono, in order to achieve a “Simulated-Surround” effect. But, you kinda had to be a little Tech-Savy, to pull that off. You, basically had to Jimmy-Rig… and Tweek your set-up. To get the most of it, anyway. I mean… even when “Dolby” did show up… you still had to tune your Stereo’s radio to a certain station (to make it Dolby). They’d run a synced broadcast of the Sound-Tracks. This was a good flick… to see in a “Drive-In,” with your girl. Definitely with a few pre-rolls, and some beers/sodas/munchies. I definitely got laid during this one! 10/5✨😉👌 And, the story? Fu%king brilliant! Especially back then. Bellisimo!
Funny comedian. Enjoyed this. Lisa comes across as chaotic but she’s quite intelligent and tells a story quite well.
I’ve watched Grey’s Anatomy for several years and at times I get tired of the personal drama! I think this is why I like The Pit and the other medical, Doc is okay, but it too has a lot of personal drama. Not sure If I want to watch this one though. Might watch the first episode and then decide.
i am in the same corner as you..love Pitt as well and weirdly enough they do develop character without introducing the personal drama into the series,,,let me know if you have seen this start of well or not….
I just had a thought on the older cars, going back to the Cash for Clunkers program under Obama. I wonder if there’s just not an availability of crappy older cars to be used? Maybe the older vehicles look so nice because that’s all they can source & junking them up isn’t an option? IDK, just a thought. (We all know there can be only one true Abbey)
It is set at Oceanside California, Camp Pendelton no snow or road salt and plenty of mint cars from the 50’s + today…
Clarkson’s Farm Season 4 release dates have been announced: “Season 4 will premiere on Prime Video on Friday, May 23! The season’s first four episodes will be available to stream that day, followed by two more one week later (May 30), and the final two one week after that (June 6).”
Thanks for that address (ever since TVMuse went down I’ve…well, shit’s different these days.
What user Alien said is true perhaps without some perspective:
Fanny and Alexander was supposed to be Ingmar Bergman’s retirement film. I’d seen, “Wild Strawberries,” and several others before it; after each I felt like I’d watched a Shakespeare play: I had a greater sense of my humanity (and how People are magnificent). I’ve heard the mini-series version of, “Fanny and Alexander,” is better, dunno, here’s a link: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWrB9VIF4Immy_AgcxFXS3vsRQYBe3jje&si=tsIFlaKMV-OKjmbs
While watching, “Fanny and Alexander,” I believe the director at several points was speaking directly to the audience through his characters, but I could be wrong. There were magical moments throughout, for me, and a girlfriend I recommended it to.
“Carmen,” is simply a Flamenco version of the story. The twist (not a spoiler) is that you’re watching THE most influential Flamenco male dancer of the time and arguably their nation’s master guitarist of that time set up the production, parallel to the rehearsals but at some point the line between rehearsal and the story being played out in real life is erased. It’s a devise, I read that story before I rented the tape, it worked for me. I enjoyed it so much I took it to a friend from work to watch with his wife, then afterwards found out they met while he was stationed in Spain, and that she was studying Flamenco dance to further her training in Balet, and that they practiced together A Lot. They explained the concept of El Duende, or, the spirit integral to Flamenco (and other Art forms) which allows deep emotional expression and communication of those between performers and audience. I don’t have a bucket list, but before I die I’d love to sit in on a guitar performance in a Spanish club where the audience participates by, “Palmas,” or clapping along… I hear it’s transendental.
“Tampopo,” was called a Noodle Western, and it’s so funny instead of adding bits of comic relief they added short interludes of food related sex and drama (to break up the comedy).
They’re all old AF, nothing particularly special. YMMV
Dude u spent wayyyyyyy to long a comment on a piracy streaming site LMAO
I gotta disagree. This looks pretty underwhelming. Couldn’t be worse than Tales of the Empire but on the other hand never underestimate Kathy Kennedy’s ability to bring SW to new lows.
Whilst that may be true this is created by Dave Filoni the co-creator of The Mandalorian and the sole creator of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels amongst other things as well.
I don’t remember seeing this movie when it came out, but from what I’ve read, the band’s surviving members admitted that they couldn’t tell the difference between Morrison and Kilmer’s singing voices. Okay, need to watch this movie over the weekend.
you should watch the documentary of what he did to train for this role. He was the perfect fit.
I remember the night I saw this in the cinema when I was 23. I loved the Doors, and couldn’t believe how well Val Kilmer stepped into this role. Brilliant movie, albeit having left out some details around the end of his (Jim’s) life. So talented he was, may he R.I.P
my bf was obsessed with Jim and made us watch this movie almost every wknd!

More of a thriller and suspense than a horror, it has great actors and real entertainment. I’m finding that movies like these are preferable to the gore type of movies coming out lately. I would watch this one again.
The kind of episode that’s so well done, it just really fucks you up and bums you out. Have something light hearted ready to follow this up to get you out of a funk. Great ep.
yeah i loved it too! so glad they’re fostering too
I really liked him on Death in Paradise and was happy he was getting his own show. His quirkiness and his facial expressions just crack me up!
Omfg, what a major letdown 🤬🤬🤬 so many questions left unanswered.
This isn’t about giving answers. It’s about letting people experience real moments in time, struggling through what’s happening and trying to figure out what to do and how to continue.
You can also find semblences of answers that are strung through all episodes, none definitive, instead you’re invited to explore all the grey areas. The ending is such an emotional gut punch I don’t know how you can say it’s a let down. If you pay attention, you get everything you need from this show.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The punch in the nose…perfect! This is going to be a good season.
What I don’t understand is why they haven’t made a special wrench for these guys that have some kind of coating on the handle so as to avoid making that oh so dangerous spark that kills people when they’re hitting it? Or wrap it with a towel/cloth.
Thought the same when I saw this. Either a hammer with a rubber head or a wrench with a rubber coating over the whole handle.
What? I was just having a laugh which you perceived to be at your expense.

That was wonderful. I miss San Diego very much. It’s where most of my nostalgia is realized.

Very welcome and no, not related at all, at least I don’t think so. From what I’ve read Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride goes down a totally different road. She wanted something more….maybe disturbing?
Thanks again. WTF with these down voting ejits when we make innocuous comments? Good lord, the world of the internet is flowing with negativity and that’s all. 99% negative comments get seen. Thanks again, Piglet. Take good care.
ikr? Now we know when it was released! Spoilers ruin everything just like Lisa Kudrow does.
I don’t get the concept maybe I’m dumb. Or missed something possibly both? I didn’t understand the rental store and the movies and how they connect to the characters. I was expecting some reveal at the end to have it explained but thier wasn’t any. Like I said maybe I missed something. Was kind of amusing at parts but like I said just didn’t really make sense overall.
The way I see it, the movies in the store are his stories of the murders he has done. So, at the end you get a glimpse of a new movie that was created from the murders that happened. The crazy guy that wanted to be in a movie, he wanted to watch it because he’s in it and she was like no, that’s the end of it and threw it away. Freaky, how at the end where her dad was usually the one killed and respawns by digging his way out of the ground, it was her girlfriend this time instead. Loved it. LOL
The Marksman! Joining that “Elite” Movie Group which includes…The Mechanic, The Accountant, The Night Manager, The Beekeeper, The Baker, The Transporter, The Working Man, The Cleaner…
Oh cool! I had it but didn’t know how to use it. Worked like a charm. Thanks!
You’re welcome! It really changed things when someone pointed it out to me.
They Cast Morris’ character perfect. The actor does a great job playing a complete waste of skin Morris turns out to be, I swear there is 1 positive interaction with Morris and any other character in the series..!
What kind of spoiler is that?

Unbalanced is the only word that comes to mind for this Doc. The Director kept interviewing the cast of the Karate kid throughout the ENTIRE doc as if that was the only film Morita ever did. Granted, the Film made him a star but it was not the epitome of his work as an actor. In the same way Morita’s struggle with addiction did not define him as a human being, but yet, the Director spent the last forty minutes of the film talking about Pat’s struggles in the most depressing manner possible instead of memorializing him as a great actor and human being as he deserved. A very one dimensional documentary.
Super accurate , also well said! its a shame he didn’t plan out the documentary better, especially the end. Kind of leave us on a sad note
Season 2 & 3 episodes are on VidSrc, which you can add next to the google and youtube searches in the “search on other sites” area just below the links. Go to forums or recent forums for a link to add it.
Oh cool! I had it but didn’t know how to use it. Worked like a charm. Thanks!
This reboot/remake of the classic 70ies era series of the same name was SO bad, it only made it to 8 episodes. You’re better off watching both of the Big Screen ‘00 movies with Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz in them.
I hate to say it, but I’m kinda glad they dumped plans for this. I love the first two, but do we really need a 2nd reboot? Based on majority of recent projects, they’d ruin it anyways. Let’s leave this franchise alone for a couple more decades…maybe pick something else that still needs a first reboot. Or god forbid, something original that is very well developed and could be the best tv in years and have some knucklehead exec cancel it by end of the first season.
J.K Simmons was pretty good, for his small role. Other than that, this was predictable and the acting flat. It should have been on Lifetime.
this show was dumb af and I loved it! Cant go wrong with Tammie MF Brown lolol
It was campy and ridiculous…I didn’t want to like it, but I did. Although, the prize being $18 was a bit much.

I sincerely apologise, Alien. I’m truly sorry. Thanks for replying and setting me straight.
Thank you. Don’t give it another thought. I also apologize.
