If you like time traveler flicks, this one’s a hoot!
Even if you’re just so-so about ‘em, it’s still a hoot.
Lots of laughs—and smartassery in abundance.

I enjoyed this, I wish there were more episodes and future seasons, oh well.
Agree, I Loved it!! I would love to see Geddy do episodes on John Paul Jones and Flea.
This was my least favorite episode thus far but it’s still better than a lot of procedurals that are out there. It felt super over dramatic this episode like they are trying to be Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder, I cackled when she threw the lady against the locker! It was over the top. Same with the hashtag scene. Too much.
What a weird season. I’m still in. I just enjoy the characters so much and that keeps me watching.
Awesome information and suggestion. We’d never heard of this and will watch it this weekend. Thank you! (●>ω<●)
We’re watching this now and are loving it. The creative way they express a serious eating disorder and the way the negative self-assments slither into your relationships, close and otherwise, is well thought out and artfully presented.
That looked like a cliffhanger to me.
Season 2 of Black Cake has yet to be officially greenlit.
The first season of showrunner Marissa Jo Cerar’s streaming drama was widely acclaimed, with critics lauding it for its touching story and depiction of identity. Given the series was so celebrated, it would make sense for Hulu to want more. Also, there is more story to tell. Season 1 only covered a small section of the book it is based on (Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson).
So, if the series were to move forward, there would be plenty of material for the show to cover.
As expressed by Cerar, she has the blueprint in her head already of where the season would go in its act two (and potentially beyond).
Not a big fan of ham but I do love me some green bean casserole. I’ll literally eat the whole dish myself.
Today was the holiday potluck and the green bean casserole lasted 45 minutes.
Not the best movie… The movie is what the title says.. Bit all over the place and the script could of have been better
Oh my gosh that is so sweet!
We think very similar so he was the 1st bud made here from this version of the site. He’s a lot like our brother actually. Don’t tell him that though.

So far the first season has been alright, Looking forward to see if it gets any better in the 2nd.

Nisse/Elf is a mythical norweigan creature that will help you keep house garden in order,
if you treat them right, don’t piss the nisse off….
Nah nah. When I met him years back, he was bullied by old staff a lot & silenced for over a year. He was silenced for so long, I had a thing on my page just so as not to forget about him. True. He probably doesn’t even wish he were staff here. No pay. It’s an all volunteer army, kiddo. And he’s got a life.

How do you know I’m not one? Anyway, any discussion not pertinent to the movie or series it is under risks deletion, so … tosses glitter behind her as she dances merrily away

Since this came out, there’s been a thing about whether Dunst’s character was ever really there or not. Our family is split on it, but it’s fun to rewatch time & again if only for the crazy discussion about the dream girl.
It’s a good film, but lacks (to us). Dunst got ostracized of course. Then, so did Bloom, to a lesser extent. Sad that talent is built on relationships and not merit.
Very good episode ! Thrilling, dramatic and a bit romance. And of course the most gorgeous landscapes. This episode really made it clear that this is also a show I am gonna love, was a little worries it weren’t gonna hold the same standard as 1883 but it sure does it ! :D
I think people should judge shows on their own merit rather than compare them to the original series. millions of people weren’t even born when the original aired and their opinion means the most. now run and delete my comment again guys lol
wow! you’ve been harboring that grudge for 10 months now. let it go, man. In case you forgot, I had 3 comments removed from this thread as well.
I gave it a shot. The nods to the original were nice, but I won’t be coming back for more.

What a wonderful film this was (is!). I like her character, and I tend to think I would not be so fond of the film if she wasn’t in it.
Thanks for reminding us of this little gem, Sweet S!
Nice! (Personally I think she was there. But it does require some watchings.)
yeah ya are and ya you do…it’s sad.
if you knew how many thousands of hours of mutings I’ve accumulated over the years here you’d understand how funny that accusation is. thanks for the laugh.
I wasn’t going to until he made the specious claim that his comments were about the movie and not about you and then in his next comment “ And you gave it a 5/5 rating, you’re trolling yourself… “ which clearly shows that he was just attacking you because you did like the movie.
He was good in “The Killing” and he’s doing a great job in “For All Mankind.”
Loved him as “Robocop” too. And he bulks up very nicely.
OMG I first saw him in The Killing, and only watched this because of him. Turned out to be one of the few redeeming features of this series.

The movie was better than Captain Marvel…I liked it!
Me too! Much better, and I think its only having a bad showing at the box office due to those who are threatened by strong women, but more likely simple superhero fatigue. I know I’m feeling it.

I am a victim of child sexual abuse and there was never a moment that I thought what was done to me was not wrong. The shame I carried from the times it happened all the way into adulthood. I knew it was wrong. Oprah is a real jerk she was Michael’s friend and for her and these knuckle heads to betray him in death this way to make money is sickening to me
