RandomOddness
Description:

This is just a personal nag list of films I’m curious about & am sharing the list. A conversation, recommendation, review, synopsis of a premise can lead anyone down a rabbit hole of curiosity. List is modified constantly.

Over 130 pages. It’s random. It’s odd. This list is big & weird. Many are grouped where possible: either by director, actor, genre such as sci-fi, fantasy, adventure, heists, superhero, timey-wimey, psychotronic, salacious, ridiculous, absurd, new wave, whatever.

☆ For a list of 2100 addictively bingable tv shows, use the sort widgets to eliminate all films & trim the list to a mere 21 pages.

If you're reading this & are currently feeling like a lost kitten if there's no download to what you want, inbox me & I'll help. May or may not have it, but it doesn't hurt to private message. I really will share & make a post just for you.

☆ Wouldn't it be nice to put big walls of text like this in spoilers? When looking for films, it's nifty to sort by Rank to see what others value- by Views to see those with likely links- or unlikely if you're a contributor- or by Release Date to view by era so that types like grindhouse & new wave are likely to be grouped together, qv.

Adult fare is the oddness that knits the list together & is comprehensive at over 5200 provocative titles with all known unsimulated mainstream explicit works. Majority is filmed cinematic release. Straight to video is mostly avoided. When there’s cheese, exploitative grindhouse is favored over silicone softcore. Most are grouped by easter egg content, which are very atypical & controversial. Many are foreign & very taboo. •¨

Had this utterly unoriginal parasitic robber culture- *that stole everything from those it committed atrocities against*- died in its crib, the world would be a better place. Before Rome there was Light. After Rome darkness. That's why it's called The Dark Ages. It did much to destroy the sum total of knowledge & technology of the ancient world. Do as Lennon suggested & *Imagine* none of it happened. Seriously.

★ Some actors works that aren’t listed here are instead listed here: Comedy

There are different ways to group things. Quite often seemingly unrelated things do have something in common. Most of the time it's either content, actor, genre, director, or era- so there are entire pages or clusters that are related in some way. But there are also obvious hard breaks in content since there has to be.
It's informative to see the ability to make films decline starting circa 2017 since new filmmakers are often dumbed down & incompetent. It's a dying art. Digital abuse & social engineering = bad mojo.

★ Some have become so undervalued & rare that they’re now obscure. Others have frustrated me by not having links, so it’s a mixed bag of peculiarity.

★ There’s certainly some z-grade cheese here, but also some pretty odd stuff too. Cross pollination happens.

★ Various titles to look into.
A lot have been found. Some haven’t.
Go find them & add some links. ¸¸.•¨

A note: Some films have no photo or maybe no synopsis but do indeed have links.

● Contributors cannot magickally have links for everything just because a page for it exists since contributors don’t make the pages. Software does that, not people, since it is mirroring IMDB & TVmaze. Software makes the pages, posts the pics, does all the work. It’s all automated.

ALL PAGES ARE PLACE HOLDERS when created.

● Only later are links placed WHEN POSSIBLE. Some things are very rare & hard to find. If you are unwilling to contribute the link yourself, then you’re out of luck.

● Do not type ANYTHING on the show page. This means do not ask for, request, hint around or otherwise whine about links or requests on a show page EVER. Do NOT do this.

● The first rule of Link Club is:
you don’t make posts on show pages about Link Club. In other words, keep your requests to yourself. Do NOT make requests, demands or otherwise. This is a private site that has free access. You are in someone else’s house. For free. Be civil.

Sometimes (but not always) the only accepted link providers for this domain are Archive.org. Vimeo, Dailymotion & the accursed corporate monotized toobsite. If perchance that’s the way it is, then use your search options & good luck to you in finding treasure from the playlists.

This list isn’t a portal to a toob site. If you dig those sites, go there. Use their search to find what you want & stay. This list is for actual downloadable movies & shows. Videos that cannot be found easily. This list doesn’t exist to generate traffic for sites that stream only with no option to download. Care is given that anything originally listed is connected to a DOWNLOADABLE post.

Toob site link hijacking should be disabled since linking to those sites will guarantee that posts from a valid DOWNLOAD host will NEVER appear on the front page- preventing fans from knowing when brand new posts are made. It's not rocket science. Those who prefer downloading over streaming are invited to discourage toob sites.

Info can’t be provided as to where to find old link sources other than to say that DuckDuckGo is your friend. Or try Mojeek.com. They are a TRUE independent search engine with their own bots. Most others are a front-end to an actual search engine, but with the trackers stripped out. DDG & Brave are examples of that. They’re NOT search engines. They don’t have their own bots or index. They’re front-ends with the Biing engine on the back-end.

Archive.org is also a good place to dig around for stuff. Playlists like this will have some links, but are also useful as a reference, not unlike IMDB or TVmaze.

✔ Requests ARE currently accepted by this site IN THE FORUM, but sometimes they aren’t, which is too bad. When it gets like that, it’s best to suck it up & move on.

Movie: Piigs ( 2017 )
PIIGS is a documentary that challenges prevalent European budgetary policies and the austerity dogma. It does so by bringing in lesser-known facts and evidence that have the effect of ridiculing prevalent European monetary policies and dominant political certainties. Did you know that the famous god-like Stability and Growth Pact with its 3% deficit limit and theories about critical government debt levels are based on purely invented figures and typing errors in Excel spreadsheet? However, austerity policies keep on dividing the continent into winners and loosers, creating great amount of suffering, particularly in so-called crisis countries. Consequently, the whole European project has become in doubt. PIIGS is a Southern European take into austerity dogma and states with the voice of prestigious international economists, intellectuals and experts, that the origin of the European debt crisis is not the inadequacy of people in crisis countries but the very foundation of euro itself. Unfortunately people are not immune to bad decision making, and the documentary shows how austerity turns into practice in Rome, focusing on a survival story of a cooperative assisting disabled people.

Movie: The Occupation of the American Mind ( 2016 )
Israel's ongoing military occupation of Palestinian territory and repeated invasions of the Gaza strip have triggered a fierce backlash against Israeli policies virtually everywhere in the world - except the United States. The Occupation of the American Mind takes an eye-opening look at this critical exception, zeroing in on pro-Israel public relations efforts within the U.S. Narrated by Roger Waters and featuring leading observers of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and U.S. media culture, the film explores how the Israeli government, the U.S. government, and the pro-Israel lobby have joined forces, often with very different motives, to shape American media coverage of the conflict in Israel's favor. From the U.S.-based public relations campaigns that emerged in the 1980s to today, the film provides a sweeping analysis of Israel's decades-long battle for the hearts, minds, and tax dollars of the American people in the face of widening international condemnation of its increasingly right-wing policies. Featuring Amira Hass, M.J. Rosenberg, Stephen M. Walt, Noam Chomsky, Rula Jebreal, Henry Siegman, Rashid Khalidi, Rami Khouri, Yousef Munayyer, Norman Finkelstein, Max Blumenthal, Phyllis Bennis, Norman Solomon, Mark Crispin Miller, Peter Hart and Sut Jhally.

To say it is a conspiracy theory is an understatement. The fate of the world is not in the hands of the people, as it maybe should be. Rather, a growing body of evidence points to an ancient esoteric order that is behind wars, famine, economies, and even mainstream media. From corporate logos to military insignia, we see their symbols everyday, yet we fail to acknowledge the extent of their control. It is as if their secrets are hiding in plain sight. In a world where there seems to be no hope, beyond the glimmering images distracting us from the truth, we can discover our own sacred nature and reclaim the world.

There are 130,000 Tibetan refugees throughout the world, and 80,000 of them live in India, according to the Information Secretary in Dharamsala. "Dharamsala is the seat of the Tibetan government in exile," explains a subtitle, "and its spiritual center as home to the Dalai Lama. It is the destination for most refugees who escape from their country." The documentary proceeds to show us interviews with children and adults who trekked four or five weeks through the Himalayan mountains to reach Dharamsala. Almost all the refugees are children or monks. Not all the refugees survive the journey. Many survive, but not intact: some lose limbs from frostbite. Yet the refugees took the terrible risk to escape the terrible oppression in Tibet. The citizens suffer torture and humiliation; they are unable to receive an education or worship as they please. What many of the interviewees say is that visitors to Tibet should see not just the state-sanctioned tourist sites, but the villages as well. There is the true Tibet, the Tibet that exists under the heel of the Chinese government.

"The End of America" details the ten steps a country takes when it slides toward fascism. It's not a "lefty" taught-to-me, but rather a historical look at trends in once-functioning democracies from modern history that are being repeated in our country today. It gives any reader (or viewer of the lecture) a much-needed history lesson and constitutional refresher. Most importantly, it puts the recent gradual loss of civil liberties in the U.S. in a historical context. The average American might not be alarmed at AT&T selling our private information to the federal executive, but when this action is seen as part of a larger series of erosions and events, a pattern emerges with unfortunate consequences that become disturbingly clear.

Movie: The One Percent ( 2006 )
In this hard-hitting but humorous documentary, director Jamie Johnson takes the exploration of wealth that he began in Born Rich one step further. The One Percent, refers to the tiny percentage of Americans who control nearly half the wealth of the U.S. Johnson's thesis is that this wealth in the hands of so few people is a danger to our very way of life. Johnson captures his story through personal interviews with Robert Reich, Adnan Khashoggi, Bill Gates Sr., and Steve Forbes, during which both Johnson's and his subjects' knowledge and humor shine. And he's not afraid to butt heads with Milton Friedman, the economist who coined the term "the trickledown effect." He also shows how the other half lives, using real-world examples of the wealth gap: he takes a tour of a dilapidated housing project in Chicago, rides around with an enlightened taxi driver, and sees the human toll of the unfair economics of the Florida sugar industry. Johnson's film is at its most powerful when it reveals how the super-rich work to preserve their own monetary dominance. As a member of the "Johnson & Johnson" family, he gets rare access to an exclusive wealth conference at which the über rich learn strategies for preserving their fortunes, and learns the personal management styles of some of the countries wealthiest employers. No great society has survived such a massive wealth gap; who knows if ours will?
