Christmas Eve. A poor orphan boy trudges through the snow, pathetically. He finally arrives at his miserable cabin. While he is crying, Santa arrives and, singing the title song, offers to take the boy to his workshop. They arrive, and the toys go wild (in the full version, they sing the title song, but this has been censored in some versions due to outdated stereotypes). He plays with a few toys. A candle falls off the tree and starts a fire. The toys try in vain to fight the fire; the boy hooks up a hose to a set of bagpipes and takes care of it.

A Looney Tunes Halloween special mostly edited from famous horror-themed Looney Tunes shorts. While trick-or-treating, Bugs Bunny, masked as a witch, unwittingly visits Witch Hazel's home - and she hates competition. The story also flashbacks to Bugs' encounter with Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde from Tweety and Sylvester's famous horror short. Daffy also visits Hazel's home with the intention of proving to his young impressionable kid that there's no such thing a as witch. Later, Speedy Gonzales too has fun with Hazel and Porky Pig and Sylvester also arrive, mistaking her place for a haunted hotel. Eventually, in an attempt to fool and capture the rabbit, Hazel turns into Count Dracula and invites Bugs to spend the night in the Count's haunted castle.

When two strange men in top hats disembark from their train, the hacks solicit them until they give in and ask for a ride to their castle. When the men stiff the fare, Tom and Jerry pursue them, only to be trapped inside the castle by a portcullis. They wander about the residence and encounter a fearsome-looking bat, a bathing, whistling skeleton, a veritable army of ghosts, and other assorted ghouls and goblins. After meeting a skeletal quartet in black-face, they find the two strange men again and discover they've been turned into skeletons as well, after which they escape the castle and run for their lives.
